Phil Ravita leads Ravita Jazz and appears with jazz and classical ensembles and orchestras across the Mid-Atlantic. He has shared the stage with Jimmy Heath, Bobby Shew, Claudio Roditi and Ruby Glover.
He holds a master’s degree in jazz performance from the University of Maryland and a doctorate in music education from Boston University, is a Maryland State Arts Council Touring Artist, and hosts a weekly radio programme on WMTB 89.9 FM.
